Can you sneeze in your sleep? 30 pints of blood. Football rituals.
Maybe that's not it. All right. Away we go. Nope, that's not it. See?
SPEAKER_03Of course. Jesus. God. Dude.
SPEAKER_00Just give me a moment. It's the Damn Beaver Podcast. Hey everybody.
SPEAKER_03Hey, we got the right shit now.
SPEAKER_00We came back. You know, if I were listening for podcasts, I would just listen to this just for the unprofessionalism and how production is just awful. That's what I tell people. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You want unprofessionalism? Check us out. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Doors open too. The most confusing podcast. Just have them have them listen. Just to just be sympathetic.
SPEAKER_03What the balls is this? What are they talking about?
SPEAKER_00Uh so Mike Tyson, we're celebrating that. Uh he bit off, he bit off Holy Fander's uh year. Holy Fander! Holy Fander. Holy Lander's year.
SPEAKER_03Holy Fender.
SPEAKER_00Or was it like 20 years ago?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was I remember watching this. I do too.
SPEAKER_00He was on the way down. He was just fighting for his life.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Holy hungry and that was a big guy, too. I think Holy Fander's dead now, isn't he? Holy Lander? Holyfield? Holy Flanders. Holy Flander? I don't know. I'm thinking of Highlander. Highlander, you must be.
SPEAKER_03Highlander, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So he's out now. Yeah. He must be dead now. He bander Holyfield? I think so. I don't know. I'm gonna look it up quick because I was thinking uh this week. Uh uh I've been getting I've been getting confused a lot more. What? No way. What? Yeah Holy Flanders are. I've been walking. Yeah, Holy look that up.
SPEAKER_01Holy Flanderfield is still alive.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Son of a bitch.
SPEAKER_0169 years old.
SPEAKER_03He's gonna come kick your ass now.
SPEAKER_00If he can stay awake. Still pre-rip, man. Yeah. Yeah, I still wouldn't want to take a pun. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03There's no amount of money because he I would pay to see him take a pun. Punch it, Dan.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Would you get would you take five million? Because you'd have to, that's enough to get a three million dollar wheelchair after you get hit. Yes, I would take it. You would never have to work again.
SPEAKER_01DVD player. You know the latest technology.
SPEAKER_03I want to see the little birds fly above Dan's head. In a circle? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So they got did you guys ever go to them see anything in the Madison Theater? Yeah. Is that much? Like what theater? Like movies? They got much ado about nothing going on right now. Oh, like live theater.
SPEAKER_03Oh, like theater theater. Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Is that out in the open? What is that? American Players Theater? Is that have you been there? Yes, I love American Players Theater.
SPEAKER_01So is that indoors or outdoors? It's they have both, but they're known best for their huge outdoor area, yeah. But they also have an indoor one now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, one of my friends from Dinner Detective is directing that right now. Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some more shit. And you're not in it? No, oh no, I did not want to be in it. Oh man, perform up on the hill? That'd be awesome. I don't know. I just don't know. You know, those actors here, and we just got out of that side of it.
SPEAKER_01Those are real actors, man, because you know, they get bats flying in their face and they never break character.
SPEAKER_03Jesus.
SPEAKER_01You got half the audience going, holy shit. Yeah. Holy field.
SPEAKER_03Right, holy holy holy Flanders.
SPEAKER_02For exactly where you were. Oh.
SPEAKER_00Anyway. So uh there's that going on. Um I forgot what the hell we were talking about. Sorry, we had to move a sound fixer. Anyways. So American Players Theorem Much Ado About Nothing. I heard that's a pretty good one. So there you go. And we're gonna get the hell's job going.
SPEAKER_03We are very, very busy, and people are just not happy.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_00Oh you don't think there's not that many uh places left anywhere. We're all monopolizing. All these I found out the other day that there only one company makes hangers. One really they own 85% of the market, I thought. Holy crap. Wow. One and that's just an example, and only two companies make toothpaste or own 85% of that. I think you could just break into that market. Yeah, no, it's hold it. And then they're starting to, yeah, it's all politics, which we don't get into here.
SPEAKER_03Nope.
SPEAKER_00So there you go. I've just about had it. I'm leaving. Bye. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Where are you going? Because we can all go.
SPEAKER_00Uh anyway, it's time to start.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Here we go. Slinky. Thank you very much. Thank you. You like it?
SPEAKER_03Cool s high music.
SPEAKER_00All right, so we're gonna put that a little bit. There we go. All right. So, a woman from Lynch and Style. I can't even pronounce him. Linton Kume. I think it's is it Lint and Kume Parallel? I don't pre-read this. What do you know? Perfect. That was it. I've been there. No. Yeah, yeah. So Lincoln uh Lincoln Kume, Maryland, dressed only in her underwear, lost her balance while putting down linoleum in her home and fell smack into the glue that was spread on the floor. According to the battalion chief John M. Schultz of the Country Fire Department, she became stuck in the floor. Uh she became stuck to the floor. Uh, that was mistake number one, but somehow managed to free herself and after a while called the emergency number 911. When the ambulance crew arrived, they found her sitting on her couch. Mistake number two. She was now glued to her couch. Oh my god. No. She had crossed her legs. Oh. Mistake number three. Her legs were now glued together. And they also found her cordless phone glued to her hand. Using a solvent dipped in sterile gauze pads, they eventually freed her legs, hands, and extremities. She refused to go to the hospital. Of course she did. What?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_03Of course she did.
SPEAKER_01That's a true story. So home improvement is not for you. It is not. It's not for you.
SPEAKER_00Like a fly trap. It's it's it's pretty awful.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Wow, that would suck. Hey, Amy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, what's up, Dan?
SPEAKER_00Can you uh sneeze in your sleep?
SPEAKER_03Probably.
SPEAKER_00All right.
SPEAKER_03I would say yes.
SPEAKER_00Some of the things that make you sneeze when you're awake simply aren't an issue when you're asleep. Uh, people sneeze when they see bright lights, which is not a problem at nighttime. Others sneeze after uh disturbing something dusty, right? Also unlikely at night, unless you're sleepwalking. Uh, on top of that, your body has mechanisms to stop snoozing and sneezing at the same time. So when you dream and you when you enter a REM sleep, uh rapid eye movement for the non-which allows your eyes to move around, but your other muscles are temporarily paralyzed. This prevents you from hurting yourself. But it also means that the signals that would usually tell your body to prepare to sneeze don't get sent. If there's a big enough irritant, like someone putting a feather up your nose, uh, then you might sneeze. But even then, you'll wake up moments before you do so. Wow. So you have to wake up to sneeze. That's amazing. Isn't that an interesting fact that nobody cares about it? Absolutely, yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's weird.
SPEAKER_00Thank you very much.
SPEAKER_03I disagree, but okay. Oh, really?
SPEAKER_00Research. In the early morning of June 17th, 1972, an $88 a week security guard named Frank Wills was patrolling the parking garage of an office complex in Washington, D.C. When he noticed that someone had used adhesive tape to prevent the stairwell door from latching, which I did this a lot when I was guilty. Wills removed the tape and continued his rounds. But when he returned to the same door again at 2 a.m., he had saw the door been taped again. So he called the police. Who discovered a team of burglars planting bugs in an office leased to the Democratic National Committee? Uh, this is uh this third-rate Berkeley to cover up that follow grew into the Watergate scandal that forced President Nixon to resign from office. Whoops. Uh Nixon once also once said, I would have made a good pulp. Yeah. Shh. Isn't that not that interesting? Um that's that's uh that's pretty interesting, though.
SPEAKER_03It's a heap. Did you say it's a heap?
SPEAKER_00It's a heap. Oh it's a heap, though. You're right. In 1942, an unlucky Brit, an unlucky Brit exploring the roop.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you should totally do that accent.
SPEAKER_00Exploring exploring the roop kund area of the Himalayas, discovered a lake full of human skeletons. No, there were bones floating in the water. Others were piled up along the banks. Some of them still had hair and soft tissue attached.
SPEAKER_03Skeletons, man.
SPEAKER_00Investigators discovered the remains of more than 200 people. But how did they die and when?
SPEAKER_03The mystery was 1942.
SPEAKER_00Let's see. The mystery was solved in 2002 thanks to modern forensics. Researchers determined that the people died uh in 850 AD.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_00With tissue still on uh were they frozen? Ice had preserved them. See the cause of death was blunt force trauma to their heads, not by weapons. These people were done in by a violent thunderstorm that rained down hailstones the size of baseballs.
SPEAKER_03How would they know that?
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_03It would melt. They froze. So how would you know?
SPEAKER_01They froze in the lake.
SPEAKER_00No, maybe not. Huh. It's the size of baseballs, Amy. Size of baseballs.
SPEAKER_03Did they know what baseballs were?
SPEAKER_00I mean, like, I don't like that would uh that would be. There'll be no logic and facts on this program, Amy. Well, none of that.
SPEAKER_03I guess so.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well uh Roman delicacies uh in 200 AD. Uh parrot tongue.
SPEAKER_03Why?
SPEAKER_00Ostrich brain, thrush tongue.
SPEAKER_03Ew, why would you eat that?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Peacock comb and nightingale tongue. So not the birds.
SPEAKER_03How do you even get nightingale tongue?
SPEAKER_01Like that sounds like a really deep question. During the day. Oh.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it sounds erotic, but it does. Do you really want to eat it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I wouldn't want to eat it. Um, no. Okay. That's what I thought. What is the scariest thing in the world? It says. According to the strange invention from the uh 1930s, a skeleton ghost called the criminal truth extractor, it was designed to coerce suspects into confessing. Here's how it was supposed to work. Interesting. The accused sat in a chair in a small room. An officer in the other room asked questions while viewing the suspect through the small window. The wall that separated the two rooms looked like a regular wall, but it was extra thin. The theory went out that the criminal would get so scared he would confess. Really? Yeah. Well, did it work, considering how little information there is about the criminal truth extractor? Not too well. Especially now. Oh my god. Criminals are way smarter now. Not no. But not so much. I mean, they're still a little weird. Okay.
SPEAKER_03And that's uh not after you watch the conjuring and things like that. That is not scary.
SPEAKER_00You don't think the conjuring was scary?
SPEAKER_03No, the conjuring was scary. I'm saying once you watch the conjuring, that weird, stupid shadow on the wall is not scary.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. Did you know?
SPEAKER_03I'm the truth exec here. Skeleton.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_00In the middle of the country. Uh, have you been out there when the lights are out and it's pitch black on that farm? You know, like just turn off your lights.
SPEAKER_03In the middle of the country, or it could just be anywhere around here.
SPEAKER_00You live out in the country. It's like dark out there. Oh, yeah. Yes. Did you know? I I think that uh a possum uh walking through a cornfield.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's scary.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. When it's pitch black, sounds like uh two men with an axe. Oh, yeah. It sounds exactly.
SPEAKER_01And a chainsaw and everything else. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00I I I think it sounds exactly the same. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Walking is one thing, but it's when they walk, and then it gets faster and faster, faster, faster.
SPEAKER_01Then it's a little Then you start moving backwards.
SPEAKER_00I need to feed, and then you gotta run around me, it'd be more coyotes. Absolutely.
unknownAmy totally rocks.
SPEAKER_00Oh shit, I'm up. Are you not ready?
SPEAKER_03I'm unprepared.
SPEAKER_00That's completely you're supposed to be ready when we started the Oh, we're supposed to like look ahead.
SPEAKER_03Oh you're not supposed to be listening to me. You're supposed to be I'm like totally listening to she was drawn in, I could tell. Yes, the skeleton really freaked me out.
SPEAKER_00I don't think it did.
SPEAKER_03This is a very short little thing, but um apparently um a guy in California, 62-year-old, swimming at Lovers Point Beach. Yes, Monterey, California, on Wednesday, bit by the biggest shark in the world, supposedly.
SPEAKER_00I was reading about that.
SPEAKER_03When he survived, he got bit in the stomach like an arm, but he lost 30 pints of blood. Oh my god. But has miraculously expected to make a solid recover.
SPEAKER_00How much blood did he lose? I heard read that.
SPEAKER_0330 pints.
SPEAKER_0130 pints, and he was able to and he's gonna recover.
SPEAKER_03Well, there's less of him, but she's that's why I thought it was funny that they said make a solid recovery.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's not a solid, yeah. Exactly. Like, um are you forgetting something?
SPEAKER_03There's a couple pieces that might not be there.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Wait a minute now. I wonder how big the shark was. The average adult has 10 pints of blood uh in your body. Well, how did how's that possible?
SPEAKER_03Maybe they just kept transfusing it and just kept pumping it back right back out.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. Wow. Yeah, yeah. 10 pints, it says. Uh 10 to 12.
SPEAKER_03Don't make sense, Dan. That's our podcast.
SPEAKER_00You're you're right. True but untrue. Good point. And you put your face right up to the microphone for a second.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00There you go.
SPEAKER_03All right. I'm gonna call it Evander Flanderfield. Flanderfield's coming in. Talking, I would just, and it never said how big, it just said the world's largest shark, but it never really said how big.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's like 30 feet.
SPEAKER_03How big is it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, this is kind of weird too. So there's some wild facts about wild animals. Did you know that some tarantulas have pet frogs?
SPEAKER_01What? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Their own pet frogs. So in Peru, India, and Sri Lanka, tarantulas and a type of small, narrow-mouthed frog enjoy a curious relationship. The spiders can easily slay and eat the frog, but the frogs hide underneath the protection of the spider. The frog takes shelter. The spider offers protection from the predators and like snakes and scorpions, while the frog dines on bits and pieces that fall from the tarantula's prey.
SPEAKER_00So the tarantula is tougher than the frog?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they just let them hang out underneath.
SPEAKER_00I did not know that.
SPEAKER_03So and then the trade-off is the frogs love to eat ants, which are huge dangers to tarantula's eggs.
SPEAKER_00Wow, what a trade-off.
SPEAKER_03Right? Kind of weird that it yeah.
SPEAKER_00Makes me wanted to think twice about having frog's legs, though. Have you ever had frog legs? No. No, I haven't. Never tried to do it. I just picture a little froggy with a wheelchair. You wouldn't, yeah. You would. If we have a frog licking, I would I wouldn't. No. You can lick frogs and kick an eye on frogs. I've heard of that. I've heard of that, too. Yeah, I've seen that too.
SPEAKER_03And I didn't know male koalas have double-headed members. Did you know that?
SPEAKER_00Excuse me? Oh male and male.
SPEAKER_03Male koalas have a double-headed thing.
SPEAKER_00Uh huh. They got two of them?
SPEAKER_03They have two heads. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03And they don't scientists don't know why, but the female koalas have three vaginas. Supposedly.
SPEAKER_01Sounds unfair, you know. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Two are used for fertilization and one is for birthing.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Did not know koalas had so many parts.
SPEAKER_00So no kidding. How do you choose? I mean, what if what if they do what if they're into piercing? Then what?
SPEAKER_01Well then it probably lasts a little longer.
SPEAKER_00I'm just saying. Listen. Is that the reason? Anything's possible now. I've seen the internet. There's lots of stuff. Yeah. Boy, that would be. Can you imagine just having a three Amy? Oh my God. Well, that would be weird.
SPEAKER_03Two is for fun. One is for the result.
SPEAKER_00Right. Two is for fun? Maybe they have two for those.
SPEAKER_03Yes, two for fertilization, one for birthing.
SPEAKER_00How come there's not more of them? I would think that there would be way more co-op. But I mean, we're also taking away their habitat. So that's true. Yeah. Yeah. If it weren't for man, everything would be just fine. Pretty much. Pretty much. Don't you read into that?
SPEAKER_03You're like, yeah, if we weren't here, we wouldn't touch everything and wreck it, it'd be great. Right.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Some jellyfish are immortal. Did you know that?
SPEAKER_00They can live forever?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Apparently, um a jellyfish's fertilized egg becomes larva, attaches itself to the surface. Um the larva turn into a jellyfish, but then as they grow older, they sink back down to the bottom and they like re they um die kind of. But then as they're at the bottom of the ocean, they revert to the previous life stages. What? And they become they like rebirth themselves.
SPEAKER_00Well, if if the jellyfish was just a little more glamorous looking, I bet you we would write more stories about them. No.
SPEAKER_03It says, yeah, the jellyfish body falls to the ocean for a while.
SPEAKER_00Right. Reborns itself.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it regenerates into new polyps that become new jellyfish in a cellular process called transdifferentiation.
SPEAKER_01So there might be only like four jellyfish in the world.
SPEAKER_03But they just keep making them still falling down and read over and over and over. How cool is that?
unknownJeez.
SPEAKER_03It's kind of weird.
SPEAKER_00Is it electric? They must be uh where you can get stung, right? Like zapped. Can't you get zapped, is that just a little bit?
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, some jellyfish, yeah. Yeah, and then you gotta pee on them.
SPEAKER_00I'm just thinking of sponge biomers with the big electric jellyfish feels. So I wonder he wants to catch them.
SPEAKER_03I mean, you know, right?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03This one I thought was really gross. You know those angler fish? They're at the bottom of the deck. Ugly things with the spirit. Yeah, with the the yeah, they have the teeth, and then they have the little like light bulb on the front. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01The dangler Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So apparently, there this is just kind of freaked me out. So apparently the males are floating around. There's not very many females. So when they find a female, the male will immediately bite her and latch onto her, and then they fuse, the skin fuses together. And their blood vessels join and their blood flows to one another, and eventually the male's eyes and fins atrophy away, and he just lives off of her blood, breathing his own gills and lungs. What? Supplying sperm when necessary.
SPEAKER_00It is an ugly fish. It is a ugly fish. So that is one female.
SPEAKER_03All female angler fish need to hide because that is disgusting. Hell yeah. You basically morph into her the and she becomes nothing.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's gross.
SPEAKER_03Which kind of is disgusting.
SPEAKER_00Wow. That's how it works. I mean, I suppose it's so dark down there you can't really see the males. So they don't they don't care what they look like.
SPEAKER_03Looks aren't important to us.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're not looks aren't important as well. Yeah, I would Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So the male looks like some females.
SPEAKER_03Right. Of course they do.
SPEAKER_01Oh, of course.
SPEAKER_03Of course they do.
SPEAKER_00So it's actually imitation. You know what? That would be a good uh uh animal for a football team, the anglerfish. Yes, it would. That would be a great emblem, yes. That is an ugly. Oh that's nasty on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Or put them on like the uh yeah, yeah. That'd be worth it. Yep. Or put them on the uh remember when the uh who used to be known for being a dirty football team? The Raiders, Raiders Raiders, Raiders, put them on the Raiders, though, just be like the condors or something like that. And the anglers. Yeah, just have a bunch of fish.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00That'd be scary.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't want to hit that.
SPEAKER_03Right?
SPEAKER_01No. I'd call them the danglers. Like the superior danglers or something. Okay.
SPEAKER_00No, I tried to steer this show to a family spot. To a family spot.
SPEAKER_03Rick's in a dirty place right now.
SPEAKER_01That wasn't going there, but no, no, you went. You went. All right. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03There's also a zombie fungus that takes over ants' minds. Oh, good. It controls them. A fungus called, I can't even pronounce it.
SPEAKER_00Among us.
SPEAKER_03Ophophio cordyceps unilateralis.
SPEAKER_01You you nailed it.
SPEAKER_03I know, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I remember that word.
SPEAKER_03Arrives in the jungles of tropical countries like Brazil. Reeks have us on carpenter ants. It infects the ant's body, drains all the nutrients, and hijacks the creature's mind. The ant leaves the nest, climbs a plant, and latches itself onto a leaf. Eventually the long stalk grows out of the ant's head and sends more spores of the fungus out into infect the world.
SPEAKER_00It's hard to find a good carpenter ant, though. Yeah. I mean, am I right, Rick? Yeah, you are.
SPEAKER_01You gotta find the right ant.
SPEAKER_00You gotta find the right carpenter.
SPEAKER_01That ant, that ant.
SPEAKER_03And then one more out of here. Uh, I didn't know that a platypus has venom.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I didn't know that either. No, that they were just sweet doobity.
SPEAKER_03They're just doo-de-doo-doo-do-do. The venom from a platypus's sting. I didn't know they stung. I didn't know they stung either. Wow. Is incredibly painful. Just as the female platypus is one of the only mammals that lays eggs, the male platypus is one of the only mammals that produces venom.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Cheapers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Male platypuses have spurs on their hind feet that produce a venom that incre that is incredibly painful to humans. So when they have been stung, morphine cannot even ease the pain.
SPEAKER_00Oh my God.
SPEAKER_03And they need a local anesthetic.
SPEAKER_00That is an interesting animal. Just like seeing.
SPEAKER_03Like you wouldn't, I didn't know they had poison. Like what?
SPEAKER_00I think when God made the platypus, he just looked at Darwin and said, up yours and just threw this into the pool.
SPEAKER_03You made me look so weird. What the hell is that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, see how that fits into your formula, buddy.
SPEAKER_03Right? Like, dang.
SPEAKER_00God, now I want one.
SPEAKER_03Now I want one. Oh, you have a pool, don't you?
SPEAKER_01Now you can put it in the pool. Yeah. Yeah, we got a pooly. Did you say platpussy? Yes, you did. Oh my lord.
SPEAKER_02Yes, you did.
SPEAKER_01Rick. Did I earn that?
SPEAKER_03You did earn that.
SPEAKER_00Oh man, that was a slip. Slip earn. Have you ever seen a baby platypus? I have not. I've only seen them flicker. I wonder what they look like. They gotta well now I gotta look it up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, look it up. That's a very interesting question.
SPEAKER_00I'll look it up and won't send it to you. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Um let's see. What is this? Which one is better here? Um that's not fun. That's not fun. Here we go. Sixteen actors.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Who if it comes up. There um 16 actors that got cast into movies that weren't supposed to be.
SPEAKER_00Oh. I see these all the time. Oh, baby platyboys.
SPEAKER_03Uh oh.
SPEAKER_00It's gonna sting you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Look at this movie. These are horrible.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01I can't see it. I know I'm pretending.
SPEAKER_03Oh, look at that. Oh, that's awesome.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, thanks for sharing, Dan.
SPEAKER_00I won't.
SPEAKER_03Nice.
SPEAKER_00This one is perfect. I'll have to send that out. All right. I'll put it out with the podcast.
SPEAKER_03You can hear how cute that is.
SPEAKER_00You can see what the podcast.
SPEAKER_03All right. Zach Efron was not supposed to be in Hairspray. Really? Nope.
SPEAKER_00Harry's kind of a douche.
SPEAKER_03Really? Is he kind of a dick actor?
SPEAKER_00That's what I've been reading. He was in Hairspray, huh?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was Link. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01Not that first.
SPEAKER_03What?
SPEAKER_00That's the one to watch. Is it?
SPEAKER_03And apparently apparently Marlon Brando was not supposed to be in The Godfather.
SPEAKER_00No. No, that one I knew. I know I read a lot about The Godfather. Yeah, that one that one I kind of knew. Well, that would have been a good thing. He came in with cotton balls in his mouth and he put he tried out the spot and he got it. Immediate casting. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Whoopi Goldberg was not supposed to be in Ghosts.
SPEAKER_00No, that's that's amazing. I've been liking her less and less. She needs to talk to me. Agree. Agree. I am tired. That's another actor that could just actress that can. I can't tell. No. I could just go go away and I'll be fine. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Michael J. Fox was not supposed to be in family ties.
SPEAKER_00Really? Nope. Yeah, wasn't he?
SPEAKER_03The creator.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Um, he he wanted him replaced. He said he wouldn't even run the show if he was in it. Oh wow. They thought the creator of the show thought he was not tall enough. He refused to do the show. Yeah.
unknownYep.
SPEAKER_01Yep. He was just a little guy.
SPEAKER_03He was a small dude. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03But he did awesome in that show. I thought.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he's fantastic. That was definitely made his career. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00That was a good show.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00Um and his whole family is taller than him, from what I'm seeing here.
SPEAKER_02Oh, really?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. His wife was one was on the show, you know. His wife was his that girlfriend, the first one. And then uh Courtney Cox was his second girlfriend. Oh, really?
SPEAKER_01So that's who his wife? Really?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, his first one uh is the first one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, his first girlfriend from the from the TV show.
SPEAKER_00And she had and then all the kids I'm seeing here are the same size as he is, who is still so his whole family's taller than poor little guy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And then the other one that wasn't supposed to be cast in this movie would be horrible if he wasn't in this movie. Uh, Sean Penn was not supposed to be in Fast Times or Richemont High.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. That would have been a crime.
SPEAKER_03He had scored a big break, had an awful lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I heard this. So Nick Nicolas Cage was in there. Nick Cage. He was in there.
SPEAKER_03He was one of the dopers in the van.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he could, I could see. Yeah, with Eric Stoltz. Oh yeah. He he was he was called Nick Nick Coppola in the show. Yeah. Nicholas Coppola. And what happened, right or something? Yeah. He was supposed to play the part of Spicoli because he did a good job. The problem was is he wasn't old enough. He wasn't 18 or older. So he took over.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh, Sean Penn did such a good job.
SPEAKER_00Oh my God. Oh my God, Mr. Han.
SPEAKER_01Mr. Han.
SPEAKER_03Well, if I'm here and you're not here, doesn't that make it our time?
SPEAKER_00Our time. Ray Walston can be in. I love it.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I love Ray Walston. He's the baddest.
SPEAKER_00He was in Johnny Dangerously, too, when he gets hit in the head from the newspaper thing. I can see. And then he gets hit in the head.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Talking about short actors, I don't know this guy at all. Wilson was short. Ray Wilson was short, but he was awesome too in South Pacific. Anyway, um actor Rich Rotella. I don't know a lot about him, but he underwent a painful limb lengthening procedure to make him three inches taller.
SPEAKER_00Why? That's very painful.
SPEAKER_03He was disappointed at being passed over simply because he was short.
SPEAKER_01Oh my God.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was 5'5. And let's see. I want to see if they say how far.
SPEAKER_00So for three inches. He looks like he hasn't been. I haven't seen him in the case.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, in a painful procedure, and with both of his femurs were broken.
SPEAKER_00Oh no.
SPEAKER_03To make him 3.25 inches taller. And he hopes to be five foot eight by the end of July.
SPEAKER_01Did it help him or is he still? Oh, it's like this year he did it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh. But I suppose you have to break one and then rehab and then break. Oh, who would want to do that?
SPEAKER_00That'd be awful.
SPEAKER_03Just for take me as a hand.
SPEAKER_00Because then the bone regrows to that length, right? It goes around. Because I know how that works.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because then they they probably separated. They put you in traction or something, and then your bone stimulates.
SPEAKER_00Just just be fine with that. Yep. There's lots of. I mean, look at Tom Cruise.
SPEAKER_03He's he's he just pulled in a billion dollars for Top Gun marriage. Very lips, man. One billion friggin' dollars. No, just no, he's he was like, he's super hot, super good looking dude, and then he got all weird with the Scientology thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. All he had to do is keep his mouth shut. Yep. The world was his. He would have been fine.
SPEAKER_03Got weird.
SPEAKER_00It's too bad.
SPEAKER_03Get unweird, Tom Cruise.
SPEAKER_00I think Kelly stopped watching shows when he made that comment to Brooke Shields about women's depression as a farce. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I kind of lost it when he told what's her name she couldn't scream during having a baby. I'm like, I think you can suck it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I think that's yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's when next time you pass a bowling ball bowling ball out of your ass, then you not scream. Then we can talk. Yeah. Fuck off. Sorry. Right. And you were super hot, dude. Oh, and you got weird. Yeah, you got to let the celebrity go to the head. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well, no, it's not money, does that weird? Yeah. Hey, I'm rich, so I must know more than everybody.
SPEAKER_03Right. Like, yeah, no, you don't.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But anyway, I have other things, but I'm getting kind of long here.
SPEAKER_00So one more. Give me one more.
SPEAKER_03One more.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, well, this is something different, though.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03This is people who woke up during surgery by accident.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I've heard of that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But can you imagine this guy woke up in the during the 1990s during surgery? Like fully snapped awake, sat up. Everyone was wide-eyed.
SPEAKER_01And they started in the 80s.
SPEAKER_03I looked down and my leg was clamped open.
SPEAKER_01Oh, no. Nope.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they put me back under.
SPEAKER_01Oh, thank you.
SPEAKER_03I woke up during my colonoscopy. They were shoving a board through my intestines. The pressure was unreal.
SPEAKER_00Oh my lord. God. I'd be uh I'd be uh calling my wire.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00I'd be like, uh that'd be crappy too. Like you're gave me a looks like I need a new car.
SPEAKER_03You're elbow deep and an asshole, and they're waking up talking to you. I'm like, eh, I think uh hey Rick. Time to go to sports.
SPEAKER_00Rick Renew. Oh man.
SPEAKER_02Yes, but that's all.
SPEAKER_00I gave you a new little thing. Hey, oh, I like this. Like chariots of fire.
SPEAKER_03Chariots of fire.
SPEAKER_01Rick, the naturalist.
SPEAKER_03The naturally.
SPEAKER_01Well, ladies and gentlemen, uh, Milwaukee Brewers were in second, third place the last time we were together. Today? Amy. They're in first place in the National Central.
SPEAKER_03They dropped a bunch, though.
SPEAKER_01They got on the side for a while. They won today five to three.
SPEAKER_03They did win today, correct.
SPEAKER_01So they're they're on a winning streak-ish, I would say now, sort of.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01And that's all I had for the case.
SPEAKER_03But it was like they needed one more win. They needed like one win for Craig Council to meet some kind of deal, and then like they couldn't win for nothing.
SPEAKER_01Great. Um, that's true. Right. Yeah. He needed one more win to like tie a record. Yeah. And it took him two weeks.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I don't know if they stalled on purpose or what the fuck.
SPEAKER_01I think they were just like, we're gonna keep him here a long time. Uh Evander Holyfield is still alive, by the way. Is he?
SPEAKER_03Evander Flanderfield is still alive.
SPEAKER_01Flander is not in the he is alive and breathing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Awesome. Um he won't drive to Wisconsin to kick my ass off. Um he might. He might. He might. He's got some. What else has some time on his hands?
SPEAKER_01He's got time. He's got time.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Um, so did I did I was I going over the uh crazy rituals from all NFL teams last week?
SPEAKER_03Yes, some of them, yeah. Crazy like baseball just baseball.
SPEAKER_01All over baseball rituals. Yeah, I think. I think so. Well, now we're in the NFL. Um simply because we're getting close. Uh NFL training camp is a good thing.
SPEAKER_03Seven weeks to training camp.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's around the corner.
SPEAKER_00You're what time is what is it starting in September?
SPEAKER_03Preseason starts in August.
SPEAKER_01We'll play in August. Oh my lord. So uh, like they're uh like three weeks away from some opening training football. Opening actual training. That's very busy for a nonprofit organization. It's very difficult football. Yes, not-for-profit football. So um they start off, and this wasn't me, this is the article starting off with uh crazy. Um, let's see, from Tabasco Shots, baths, and gross gloves, the best rituals and superstitions on all 32 NFL teams. I will give you a handful to start this week.
SPEAKER_03I uh I almost thought I thought you said something else.
SPEAKER_01And it which which part? Tabasco? Gross gloves? What? Rituals? Superstitions.
SPEAKER_00I don't I don't know what's going on.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I'll give you a oh god. Dan moving on mute her. Yeah or mute me, maybe.
SPEAKER_00Um it makes the show more interesting.
SPEAKER_01So it starts off uh NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys. They have uh offensive linemen who like to run route trees, the wide receiver route trees. What are those? Well, the wide receiver has to run a certain route. So they'll go like 30 yards downfield and they'll cut left really hard. Bam, the football's supposed to be there. That's kind of a route.
SPEAKER_00So on the playground that's left at the bottle cap and when you're doing plays in the dirt. Exactly, correct. Only they're more sophisticated in the NFL. They have a book of them.
SPEAKER_01They have a ton of them. All right. The more advanced a receiver, he can take a turn left, left, right here at the 30, the 35, the 32 and a half.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_01Route trees are huge with wide receivers. Uh a pair of cowboy offensive linemen, now we're talking about 300-pound men doing cuts and turns like this, which you really wouldn't want to have happen, right? Ankles turn, break.
SPEAKER_03Not when they're 300-some pounds. 300 and some pounds.
SPEAKER_01These guys run hard route trees. And for some reason, they let them. It's Dallas. What do you expect? Well, that's true. He doesn't care. He's not a billionaire by, you know, a football team alone. By the way, not for profit league. Did you hear what Jerry Jones just got during our hard times going on here? I'm sorry, I'm not sure. He just he just made over like $10 billion in the natural gas he did. So what do the Cowboys mean to him?
SPEAKER_00Well, that's because they won't lower their profit margin. So we can have better price. No, they're not gonna do that. Oh God, no.
SPEAKER_03That's why he's getting into it.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. The feds don't it. Everyone's yelling at the president. He doesn't have any control. They could just say, you know what, we're not gonna, we don't need profits. We're doing good for now. The billionaire is saying, you know what?
SPEAKER_01We don't really want to lose a billion dollars.
SPEAKER_03Oh god, no, we can't have that.
SPEAKER_01How can you possibly float around the world on your yacht if you lose a billion dollars? Come on. Yeah. Help me out. New York Giants, Benny Fowler. Uh wide receiver wears NBA socks every single time he steps onto the football field. Some people were saying, how is this not illegal? Because you're supposed to rep, you know, the NFL.
SPEAKER_00There's differences between football socks and basketball socks?
SPEAKER_01Yes. Yes, the logo. Oh, the logo. And I personally know by directing a play called Lombardi years ago that if you mess with that NFL label, oh, they will come after you. Yeah. Yeah. I got a call from a lawyer on that one. Yeah. Oh, that must have been cool. It was really cool because she was really sweet, really nice lady from New York. I don't know. I thought you could tell.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I thought she showed up. No. No, she didn't show up.
SPEAKER_00I'll bet you. Just a phone call. This this little task was handed down to her from six people. I'll bet she's probably. I'm sure she's a third-year law student. Yeah. She sounded cute. Just got stuck calling the stupid town play called. Oh, who's this?
SPEAKER_01Somebody's doing Lombardy and they're using football pictures. And then they they called us and they they called me and they said.
SPEAKER_00And then you know, aren't you guys a nonprofit organization? Here to help the people?
SPEAKER_01I don't understand. I tried to say, look, we're just a small community theater. I that wasn't uh an old NFL picture I used. That was me on a muddy field. Right. Well, they didn't believe that, which was not true. It doesn't matter what they don't believe. Exactly. And I said, you know, can you help us a little bit? And she's like, um, the NFL has been known to sue community theaters for doing just this. So just so you know, they'll come after you. I'm like, okay.
SPEAKER_03Just just took out my own picture down. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No. I was in the mud. You could have used your own picture for sure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. No. There's no way. For sure. I look like a like an NFL player. They might, you know.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Maybe you could have got recruited. One of the bad ones.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Right. But unless you were a white, I mean they were. Making the league minimum. They all pretty kind of white bag minimum. I mean, we're there, there's a lot of people.
SPEAKER_01Well, it was black and white. It was a black and white photo I used. Oh, all right. But it wasn't the NFL. It was actually a high school team, not the NFL. And she's like, nope, too close. Anyway, Jake Elliott.
SPEAKER_00They're horrible. Because it's the NFL and they are billionaires.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's like Disney. It's like Disney. They don't let you get away with anything. No. Well, yeah, but I mean it's your picture. It's your Yep. They said it was.
SPEAKER_03But the likeness looks like the NFL.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was an NFL likeness that could have been taken from one of our NFL archives.
SPEAKER_00No, it couldn't, because you would have they would have had to have fine that picture.
SPEAKER_01Right. They would have had to, you're right. Would they have? I don't know. No, they couldn't have because it it wasn't an NFL picture.
SPEAKER_03It's a million billion pictures of it.
SPEAKER_01She's like, take it down, or they're gonna come after you. I'm like, okay, it's gone. So we had zero NFL pictures in there.
SPEAKER_03I'm surprised you could use the name Lombardi, really. What's it? Because of the trophy and everything.
SPEAKER_01Lombardi.
SPEAKER_03I know, but like I'm surprised you can use that title.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they don't own it.
SPEAKER_03Because it totally reflects NFL.
SPEAKER_01Rights to it. You could buy a package though, with that play that was an extra twenty eight hundred dollars to use some NFL licensed materials and pictures. But I'm like, no, we're not gonna do that. It came out better. The Eagles kicker, um Jake Elliott, when he was with the team, um, has eaten the same meal since his freshman year of college at Memphis.
SPEAKER_03Like before a game?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Every game. Same meal. He eats a slice of pizza and a slice of cheesecake. Dating back uh to his freshman year and kind of pizza, does it say? It does not say what kind of pizza, but uh he kicked a 56-yard field goal that Brown bounced off the crossbar and then threw the uprights to win the game in over South Florida. So looking for his karmic meaning, he tied the meal to that night.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think kickers are super suspicious.
SPEAKER_01Very super superstitious.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, superstitious.
SPEAKER_01Super, super stupid. Super, super duper duper. So he says uh they had cheesecake, but it wasn't coming out, and I was kind of freaking out. Um he was talking about uh a game that he had against the Rams in 2017, and he was looking for a restaurant with that had slow delivering service, and he ordered it before a game, and it was late. Oh look at this.
SPEAKER_00This has been bothering me. Totally freaking out. They they are not nonprofit now, as of 2015. The NFL? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03You guys are all like, oh nonprofit.
SPEAKER_00They're not uh NFL's dropping its taxes. I didn't know this. Okay, you really didn't think they were nonprofit, did you? I did. Well, up until 2015, that's what I heard. Uh they dropped their tax exempt status in 2015. So it was only five, six years ago. Yeah, right. Okay.
SPEAKER_03So they'll pay the taxes because they're making way more.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Oh, God, yes. Yeah. All right, so I'm reading this now. So uh I have to go back to 63 podcasts and apologize for saying that they're not.
SPEAKER_01I thought I was joking with you because I figured you'd Oh no.
SPEAKER_00Okay, you were assured. Because aren't they that they were supposed to be nonprofit? That's what it said.
SPEAKER_01Uh now they're not.
SPEAKER_00No, but I mean, listen, how look how current that was.
SPEAKER_01That is actually fairly current, that you know, 2015 not that long ago. No. It's about time they're paying their taxes.
SPEAKER_03They're all for profit. Oh, they're not. Or although billionaire white guys wouldn't be owning the teams.
SPEAKER_01I feel a little silly. Um Washington Redskins, don't forget the whipped cream for Chris Thompson. Oh, I heard about that one. The third down back must eat the same breakfast every Sunday before games. Waffles with blueberries and raspberries and whipped cream. And then an omelet filled with bacon, peppers, cheese, and avocado. Now I want to omelet, yes. I know. The hotels have accommodated him every single time, except for one. One time he said at the hotel they didn't give us whipped cream and they couldn't get me any. My whole mood was thrown off from there. I couldn't get any. I don't remember how I played, but I remember just being mad as hell that entire day. Couldn't get couldn't get his whipped cream. Who who's ahead in the house?
SPEAKER_03Who was what team was it? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01He was on the Washington Redskins. And what team couldn't play? Miami Dolphins. Miami Dolphins.
SPEAKER_03Oh, come on, Miami. Miami has. You cannot tell me you don't have whipped cream down there somewhere. Come on.
SPEAKER_00Probably hired for it. Jerks. Well, yeah. Well, it is Florida. That's where almost all the news happens.
SPEAKER_01All the weird stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Did you guys hear of the six foot seven tall um Pittsburgh Pirates rookie player? Pittsburgh Pirates baseball? Baseball. He's like apparently six seven six foot seven baseball player.
SPEAKER_03Is he in the outfield? Because then he could just like. He should talk to Michael Jordan about that.
SPEAKER_00No doubt. That's pretty tall for uh he'd be probably pretty good in another.
SPEAKER_02Why did he play?
SPEAKER_01Well, um, I don't know where. So so he was actually um in 20, I think this was um so in in 2015, he was 16 years old. 16, okay. Okay. He was given by the Los Angeles Dodgers $950,000 as a 16-year-old player to play for them. What? Right. Um and it's all it's really hard to predict a tall, skinny uh talent in the baseball, especially. Yeah, but he even run like he kept growing after, but then uh the Los Angeles Dodgers traded him to the Pittsburgh Pirates because he wasn't developing.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he wasn't getting his coordination.
SPEAKER_01He wasn't seemingly getting his coordination, but then he is now turned into a six foot seven-inch fluid with elite speed, crazy good baseball player for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who they now have started playing in the majors. He's now made his majors. Wow.
SPEAKER_00They pissed him off. Who who said who sent who sent him away? The Dodgers.
SPEAKER_01The Dodgers sent him away, and they're kind of uh Steve, can you send our skeletons? We get our no Dodgers. Uh so you got rid of that fella? Yeah, you're fired. Yeah.
unknownBye.
SPEAKER_01Um to jump back into the nonprofit league, which is profit now. Which is profit now. Unbeknownst to me.
SPEAKER_00Oh, for profit.
SPEAKER_01Dan they have, you know that sports betting has become a huge deal in the NFL. You can bet on the coin flip for credit. Everything is right. Okay. Now the NFL has gotten involved in that. Well, yeah, they want their cut. The NFL has created a position of vice president and GM of sports betting via the sports business journal. David Highhill, previously the NFL's vice president of strategy and analytics, will assume the new role. Now it's a critical job because the easy part is presiding over the laying of the golden eggs, they say, and the printing of even more cash. The hard part is ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to safeguard against threats to the integrity of the game. So now we're talking about money gambling.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's the problem. Money. And now they're never gonna beat the house. And yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right. And all these players are gonna be 100% honest.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because everybody plays for the sport.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Nobody plays for the money.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, just talk to Pete Rose. I bet you he's can I have my trophy now and get inducted into the Hall of Fame? Can you see what's happening here? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Now, speaking of, you know, I ran into Mark LeFaber's mom last week.
SPEAKER_02You did?
SPEAKER_01Yes. She's listening. Hello. She's still listening. Yay. So in talking with her, she was really excited about uh for me to talk about my favorite sport. So here it is. Uh, Mrs. LeFaber. PGA, the the professional golfing association. Golf. Here we go. Did you know that PGA has competition now? Can you believe it?
SPEAKER_00What's more boring than golf? I don't.
SPEAKER_01She loves golf. Did you know her husband plays golf? Mark plays golf, but he doesn't know.
SPEAKER_00I don't care. I don't care. Does Jessica play golf? She probably does too, right? Right now, probably not. Don't you mess with Jessica? She's one of my favorite people. She's she's cool. I bet you she's a good golfer. She's like way cool.
SPEAKER_03Golfer.
SPEAKER_00She's like one of my favorite people. Don't tell her that.
SPEAKER_01Did you uh have you heard of the LIV Golf Association? No, I haven't. No. You want to hear about it? No, I don't. So the PGA tour.
SPEAKER_00I'm dead. I'm out. Oh, this is awesome.
SPEAKER_01Oh my God. What is the L I V golf tour, you say? This is how it works. Oh. We're doing things differently, they say, with smaller fields, fewer rounds, a defined season, shorter playing windows, and shotgun starts. The format has been designed with fans as the number one priority.
SPEAKER_03Unless Happy Gilmore's out there, I don't give two craps.
SPEAKER_01So how does the season run here? So in 2022, the live golf invitation series will host eight events. There will be eight too many.
SPEAKER_03Seven events.
SPEAKER_01Regular season. Sweet jeez. Where players will compete as individuals and teams for both points and prize money. At the end of those seven events, an individual champion will be crowned based on points accumulated throughout the season. The eighth and final event will be our Stanley Cup. Did they? Yeah, Amy, what happened in the NHL? I did not even know. And that's it for PGA. I got sorry, Mark's Bob. I got busted out. Away it goes.
SPEAKER_03No, the avalanche uh broke up the lightning streak. The lightning won two years in a row. Really? So they were going through a three beat. And the avalanche knocked them out.
SPEAKER_00We gotta get some shirts of these teams. That'd be great. Oh man. Oh, here's a new one. I don't know where that is.
SPEAKER_03What? Why are we doing a kind of thing? What are you trying to tell me, Dan?
SPEAKER_00No, nothing. She's a woman about town right now. Uh-oh.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's all I had. Is that all you need? I had another 20 minutes of golf.
SPEAKER_03Did you? Who just say the world man?
SPEAKER_00I don't know if that's such a good idea.
SPEAKER_03There's nothing else like tennis or hot or anything besides golf.
SPEAKER_01I'll bring tennis next week.
SPEAKER_00What about like croquet or something like that?
SPEAKER_01Croquette? Croquette? I'll bring croquette. Sure.
SPEAKER_00I gotta bring it.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of like golf.
SPEAKER_00You can do another do another golf.
SPEAKER_03I mean, there's gotta be some college football starting up. There's something besides golf.
SPEAKER_00You do your homework for Pete's sakes.
SPEAKER_01I did I worked hard on that. And and uh oops. All right. PGA stuff.
SPEAKER_03Which league is it? So you did it on purpose.
SPEAKER_01I've had it. No, for for his for Mark's Mob, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we work very hard on our stories, Dan.
SPEAKER_01Or frisbee golf. No doubt. I've been working on it since Friday.
SPEAKER_03Right?
SPEAKER_02Oh my God.
SPEAKER_00Uh I was looking for the uh sound effect. What was the one that I was looking for here for this particular uh oh, wait a minute. Oh awkward moment.
SPEAKER_03Waiting for Dan to play with his buttons.
SPEAKER_00You know what? I uh I could I'll do that one and just that one.
unknownThere we go.
SPEAKER_00You there we go. No You were waiting for that. I had no, no, you weren't. That was my uh substrate. Uh I can't talk about yourself. Is it a fart? No, no, no, it's not a fart. Uh Amy.
SPEAKER_03That's tight, man. That's tight. She's tight. You gotta flap those cheeks.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03That'll do it. We're gonna Yeah, it's weak as a master of sound effect. We don't need buttons.
SPEAKER_00And one from a guy that's fallen off a building. Oh god, that hurt. You know, we start off slow, but we sure do end with a big thing. I had a guy falling from a building. That's what she said. Oh, that sounds great. I remember that. You know, we committed suicide. No, nothing, nothing bad. Oh, he fell in water. All right. All right. Well, that should do it. Thanks, everybody. All right. Happy Fourth of January.
