Short Spooky Stories!! Happy Halloween!
Yeah. Very good and clear. Yeah. Amy's not here. Maybe we'll get a word in edgewise tonight, right? What? She won't hear that.
SPEAKER_01No, we we can put it on there.
SPEAKER_02It's the Damn Beaver Podcast. Uh oh. No. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_00It's spooky time. Welcome to the Damn Beaver Podcast, the Halloween edition. I am uh Dan, and uh it's just me and Rick here tonight. Oh Amy's a girl and she's too afraid to kill. That's not true. That's not true. I don't want to get hit. Yeah, no kidding. Uh Amy's uh out having fun tonight, so she's taking a time to respect. So what I decided to do was to uh what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna read you some of my favorite uh short uh scary stories that I've found. Oh there's six of them that I've found here, and they're just short little spooky stories, and I hope you enjoy them. Uh and then after that, uh first of all, I just want you to know that we can't emphasize so dead of a salesman is coming up this weekend. Sounds like a Pulitzer Prize winning show to me. Breaking it, yeah. It's it's good show. It's the the some of the dialogue is hard to transfer over and get used to. It's just some of the some of the kids. But the principles, it's like the first play that set that principle of being liked is the way to go, and what a pain in the ass it is to try and be liked all the time. But that's basically the the point I'm getting from. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, but there's a lot more to see, so you should come and see it. Absolutely. Absolutely. And how much and all the work it takes to just you know, just be yourself. That's what I'm talking about. Oh, wait a minute, I gotta say, hold on a second. Keep talking, Rick.
SPEAKER_01All right. Well, I don't know. I think uh Yeah, those of you that uh alright, I'll just I'll just keep you know, I'll just uh keep wasting time I think um you know Winky's looking at well no her eyes are closed now. That's how boring I am, I quit cats to sleep. That's fun. Yeah, I think you should come to uh come to the show and what part do I play? I I play Uncle Ben. And I have this beautiful costume, this outfit. Man, it makes me feel like you know, a powerful human being. I'm not really alive during it at all, but you look great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he you look like you should be on a suntan lotion bottle, is what I said.
SPEAKER_01Yes. That's what I said. That's what I always wanted to do for my career.
SPEAKER_00Because you're a very like you have a very nice complexion, you're a very handsome fella. So I'm just Well, I mean, it is Halloween, thank you. All right, enough trying to stall, Rick. It's time. Huh? Oh it's time for our first scary story. Oh, yes, all right. I'm getting goosebumps. This story is called I Hate It When My Brother Charlie Has to Go Away.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_00That's what it's called.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00All right. All these you can find online. Uh some of them were uh ones that I've seen before over like past five years. I hate it when my brother Charlie has to go away. My parents constantly try to explain to me how sick he is, that I am lucky for having a brain where all the chemicals flow properly to their destinations, like undammed rivers. When I complain about how bored I am without a little brother to play with, they try to make me feel bad by pointing out that his boredom likely far surpasses mine, considering his confined to a dark room in an institution. Oh, I always beg them for uh I also beg them to give him one last chance. Of course, they did at first. Charlie has been back home several times, each shorter in duration than the last. Every time, without fail, it all starts again. The neighborhood cats with gouged out eyes showing up in his toy chest. My dad's razors found dropped on the baby slide in the park across the street. Mom's vitamins replaced by bits of dishwasher tablets. And my parents are hesitant now, using last chances sparingly. They say his disorder makes him charming, makes it easy for him to fake normalcy, and to trick the doctors who care for him into thinking he is ready for rehabilitation. That I will just have to put up with uh my boredom if that means staying safe from him. I hate it when Charlie has to go away. It makes me have to pretend to be good until he is back.
SPEAKER_01How do you like you little sh a snot?
SPEAKER_00Or she's uh wow. She's a snot. Here's a very short one, only one paragraph. You ready? Oh, yeah. My daughter woke me around 11:50 last night. My wife and I had picked her up from her friend Sally's birthday party, brought her home, and put her to bed. My wife went into the bedroom to read while I fell asleep watching the Braves game. Daddy, she whispered, tugging my shirt sleeve, guess how old I'm going to be next month? I don't know, beauty, I said as I slipped on my glasses. How old? She smiled and held up four fingers. It's 7:30 now. My wife and I have been up with her for almost eight hours. She still refuses to tell us where she got them. The fingers! She held up four fingers, Rick!
SPEAKER_01Jeez! That's another little devil.
SPEAKER_00What is it with these little girls? It's really creepy when it's the children who are messed up. Yeah, it is. I got extra fingers. You got extra fingers. Now this one's called The Accident. Oh. The accident. This one's kind of an oldie. You might know this the ending before this, but it's been around a little bit. But I still like it. It's still a good one. It was 1 a.m., and Guy Halverson sat in his dark living room. He hadn't moved for over an hour. The accident earlier, earlier that evening kept playing over and over in his mind. The light turned red, but he was in a hurry and accelerated. An orange blur came from his right, and in a split second, there was a violent jolt. Then the bicyclist rolled across his hood and fell out of sight on the pavement. Horns blared angrily and he panicked, stepping on the gas and screeching away from the chaos into the darkness, shaken and keeping an eye on his rearview mirror until he got home. Why did you run, you idiot? He never committed a crime before. This and crime before this, and punished himself by imagining years in jail. His career gone, his family gone, his future gone. Why not just go to the police right now? You can afford a lawyer. Then someone tapped on the front door and his world suddenly crumbled away beneath them. They found me. There was nothing he could do but answer it. Running would only make it matters worse. And his body trembling, he got up, went to the door, and opened it, and the police officer stood under the porch light. Mr. Halverson, asked the grim officer. He let out a defeated sigh. Yes, that makes I'm terribly sorry. But I'm afraid I have some bad news. Your son's bike was struck by a hit-and-run driver this evening. He died at the scene. Oh! I'm very sorry for your loss.
SPEAKER_01No!
SPEAKER_00You don't know that one? That one's been around a while.
SPEAKER_01No, I've never heard that. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Oh man, that's deep. That's a good one. That is all right. This one is called Uh Have you? This one's called Have you uh Next Time You'll Know Better is the name of this one. Have you ever walked into a room and found a vampire? No, not the sexy kind, but a foul creature with bony limbs and ashen skin. That kind of snarls as you enter, like a beast about to pounce. The kind that roots you on the spot with its sunken hypnotic eyes, rendering you unable to flee as you watch the hideous thing uncoil from the shadows. Has your heart startled? Uh racing through your legs, uh refusing to go? Have you felt time slow as the creature crosses the room in the darkness of a blink? Have you shuddered with fear when it places one claw hand one clawed hand on top of your head and another under your chin so it can tilt you, exposing your neck? Have you squirmed as uh as its rough, dry tongue slides down your cheek over your jaw to your throat in a slithering surge that's seeking your artery? Have you felt its hot breath release a hiss against your skin when it probes your pulse? The flow that leads to your brain. Has its tongue rested there throbbing slightly as if savoring the moment? Have you then experienced a sinking, sucking blackness as you discover that not all vampires feed on blood, Rick? Some feed on memories. Well, have you? Maybe not. But let me rephrase the question. Have you ever walked into a room and suddenly forgotten why you came in? Huh? No. That's a good one. What? Where am I? Here we go. We're 15. You hanging in there, Rick? Yeah, I'm I'm okay. You okay? Goodbye. Here's another quick one that'll jolt your hiny. You ready? Mm-hmm. This one's called He Stood Against My Window. Oh wow, all right. You ready? I don't know why I looked up, but when I did, I saw him there. He stood against my window. His forehead rested against the glass, and his eyes were still and light, and he smiled a lipstick red cartoonish grin. And he just stood there in the window. My wife was upstairs sleeping. My son was in his crib, and I couldn't move. I froze and watched him looking past me through the glass. Oh, please, no. His smile never moved, but he put a hand up and slid it down the glass, watching me. With matted hair and yellow skin and face through the window, I couldn't do anything. I just stayed there frozen, feet still in the bushes I was pruning, looking into my home. He stood there against my window. Wait. What? He was outside. That guy was inside. Oh!
SPEAKER_01No!
SPEAKER_00Isn't that terrible?
SPEAKER_01Alright, one more, Rick. I know. That's freaking me out. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Last one. You hanging in there? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. This one's called the Brave Ones. No. Alright. The Brave Ones. Here they come again, the Brave Ones. Another Halloween night, and the kids are back. They're here to prove their fearfulness. The old house's floorboards creak beneath their sneakers. Only half an hour until midnight, so I have to work fast. I start with their flashlight blowing lightly against it so that it flickers. But this inspires a little more than a nervous giggle. Fifteen minutes until midnight. Time to take things up a notch. I hover up to the ceiling and will my body to flesh. My every nerve is on fire, but they've given me no choice. I force drops of blood to trickle out my nose, but the boys below don't notice. I knock against the ceiling, but they won't even look up. I thought this place was supposed to be haunted, said the leader. What a joke. Five minutes until midnight, I'm running out of time. With the last of my strength, I scream so loud that they finally turn up to look at me. I like to think I put on a good show. I sway an invisible noose. I sway on an invisible noose, and the blood flows freely from my nostrils now. A couple of drops hit a skinny one with the crew cut. The boys scream and run into the night just in time. Below me I hear the thing turn. Its disappointment palpable. For now it sleeps, but one day I will fail. The boys will be too brave, and I won't be able to scare them out in time. One day they will wake it. Thank you. What'd you think?
SPEAKER_01Oh man, that's good stuff. Dan's scary story time. That's creepy. I don't want to walk out to my truck.
SPEAKER_00Oh, well, you will have to. We'll torture the lights on for you. Thanks. I might need that.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's creepy. Well, that's a good beginning. I like it.
SPEAKER_00I like it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Ricky.
SPEAKER_00Yeah? I think it's time for you.
SPEAKER_02Rick Ramirez. Sports. The cowboys suck.
SPEAKER_00They do. And they're also scary. So. Yeah, they scary suck.
SPEAKER_01Which is a good suck. It's a good kind of suck. Anyway, yeah. So sports. I got some I got some sports here. Yeah, go ahead. I'm listening. So the Milwaukee Bucks are only one game down now. It's all official. They're the season's underway. Okay. They're three and one. They lost one. But everybody in their conference is only with one loss. So nobody's won more than four. The Bulls are undefeated. Right, right. And then Oh, the Bulls are? The Bulls are undefeated.
SPEAKER_00They haven't come into their own in like 20 years almost.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's been a long time, man. They're you know they're waiting for the next Jordan thing. Yeah, boy, they got I don't know if that's gonna happen. No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_00Jordan was Jordan.
SPEAKER_01Jordan was Jordan, and no, they'll never play.
SPEAKER_00How many championships was it?
SPEAKER_01Six, right?
SPEAKER_00It was six championships, right? Six.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's six. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Man. Um, I've got MLS, Major League Soccer. Uh well, we don't really understand that, do we? We gotta we gotta bring La Fieber in here for that. Yeah, we're gonna put that on the back burner. Um so uh I I do have some uh NFL nose here. Uh you know your Green Bay Packers are yeah, talking about noose are about to uh face the undefeated Arizona Cardinals. Okay. Um on Thursday night, tomorrow night, I believe. You and I have a show, but oh yeah, we won't be there. We won't be able to watch it. But uh so I don't know, people are like, you know, they they could be competitive, and I'm like, nah, I I don't really think they're going to be. Now their top wide receiver, what's his name? Um You're asking the wrong guy. Oh, you didn't know either? No, I don't know. Okay. Um he tested positive for COVID, apparently. So he's out this week. Oh and then their second, I don't know if he's the second, third, Lazar. He Adam Lazar or something like that. Okay. He's like their a big receiver too. He also is on the COVID list now. So now there's COVID like coming creeping through Green Bay or something. Okay. So now those two players, um, Adams, is that his name? Right. Um, yeah, they might have not even have to play their, you know, some of their top guys. Jeez. It's gonna be uh it's gonna be a game, tough one for them.
SPEAKER_00So now so hockey season started well as well. When does hockey season start? Did they overlap or they start at the same time?
SPEAKER_01No, hockey season, um the NHL, I thought, didn't they start? Didn't Amy say they started?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Amy said she's like a huge she's the violent one, yeah. She's a violent, yeah, awesome like hockey internally, but I mean she likes she enjoys the a good scrap, if you will. Right, right. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, no, they're going. Um here. They got um we got the Panthers in the uh Atlantic Division, uh leading six oh, they're six and oh, they're undefeated. I don't know who they are. Sabres, I've heard of the Sabres, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I just wanted to see if they're gonna be able to do that. Oh, okay. You don't you don't really care about no, I mean NFL, you keep going. I was just concerned. There's been a lot of talk about it. It's like season's half over almost, it seems like.
SPEAKER_01I think it it should. It seems like it should be over, but no, they just start they've only played six games. Oh, all right. So yeah, they're they just started, they just kicked it off. Okay. Talk about scary news. Well, for depending on who you are. Right, right. Um you know Jared Goff. You ever heard of you know Jared Goff? No, you don't know. You don't okay. So Jared Goff, here's a story about Jared Goff. Um he was uh drafted number one for the Los Angeles Rams, like back in 2013, something like that. Oh wow. All right his third season in the league as the uh quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, he went to the Super Bowl. Okay, he took his team to the Super Bowl. Yeah, and they lost to, you know, a New England team led by Tom Brady. Okay. And they lost 13 to 3. So there are some people who are saying, you know, Goff really had a bad day. He choked in the big game. I mean, a lot of people have choked against the big game, you know, with uh Tom Brady. Right. Um so what happens uh two years later, Jared Goff gets traded to the Detroit Lions. So now he's playing for the Detroit Lions, and the old Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is now the new quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. So people are like, oh why did they trade? Because, well, what did Matthew Stafford do in in uh Detroit? Well, he won some, but he lost a lot of games. Well they said, well, it has to be Matthew Stafford because he just, you know, he's not that good. He is uh they have only lost one game in the NFL with Matthew Stafford as a Los Angeles Ram. Right. Or uh Jared Goff, talk about you play in the Super Bowl, a couple years later, you are winless Detroit. He has not won a game. Talk about I don't know, what would he be feeling? Bad mojo, people hate me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. There's also there's a team, I think, I think it's in uh Ohio, where there's like a bunch of they traded like they made a lot of wrong trades, like they traded off Brady, yeah, and then they traded off uh like the next quarterback, and they just have it's like they're giving away thousands. Is it the Colts? I think it's the Colts.
SPEAKER_01Colts have traded, gotten rid of a lot of stuff, but they also picked up a bad quarterback who's playing okay now, but okay.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, and then I'm not I and I keep hearing from Kevin about fantasy football, which I don't know. Like, and how is that how is that rolling out now?
SPEAKER_01Well, I hate fantasy football, and there's a real good reason for it. Um I I picked my team, I've tried it once in in the history before, and I didn't understand it. I hated watching and rooting for you know 30 other different players.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's what I don't get about it either.
SPEAKER_01Right, and then you have to go like and watch all the statistics and all this. Well, now they got this thing. Uh Ryan Klube got this uh organized together and everything for people to play in the league, and uh it's kind of the theater league. Right.
SPEAKER_00So people who know a lot about football, right? Right. What cater they sing in?
SPEAKER_01Is that yeah, what what show has he ever been in? Yeah, yeah. So these things, you know, are all automatic now. You don't have to go look up their stats, it's all automatic. Okay. So I pick my team, you know. Hey, I do sports, I like football, I watch, I know what I'm talking about. Right. I just won my first game this past weekend. I am one and six. Wow. So I suck. Yeah, you do. Uh-huh. That's remarkable. It's pretty bad. Yeah. And I am a cowboy fan, I will admit I suck.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_00But not because of that. Just that your your fantasy. Who knew that your team could suck and that you could suck in fantasy football all at the same time? Exactly. I Rick, you gotta find you know, you gotta you know what though you're in the arena. You're trying. You're trying, that's exactly right. You're out there giving it a shot. You know what I mean? It's where I'm saying, you know, people are sitting by watching you fail, like myself and enjoying ourselves. And enjoying that's that's not the point. We're not you don't pay attention to us, Rick. You just do. You go out and you fail, and you and then and you keep going. You get up and you you you dust yourself off and you have another beer, and you know, you figure out where your hopes and dreams went, and then just, you know, you just go, you move on. That's right. I like that. I can't. So back to football.
SPEAKER_01So well, back to Jared Goff, you know. They talked to Jared Goff and you know, I asked him how he felt about being cut after being in the Super Bowl a few years later. Now he's cut, now he's headed to Detroit. He said, I was disappointed for two minutes. And he said, and then I spoke to these guys on the phone, the Detroit Lions, and it was like a breath of fresh air. Although they had a horribly losing history, I knew I was going to a place that I was going to be appreciated, and we're going to win a championship. I'm not sure what drug he was taking at the time. But it said he said he put it put a chip on his shoulder. And it builds that chip on your shoulder a little bit, he said. You're a godset. I won't lie about that. There is that extra motivation in chip that you do feel. So he wants anything. He can win a Super Bowl. Bow with the Detroit Lions. Boy. And you know, if anyone deserves a Super Bowl, Lance. Um, it's the Detroit Lions and Jared Goff.
SPEAKER_00Right now, I feel really horrible for the only way I wouldn't root for them in the Super Bowl is if the Pack, that would be it, you know, but I mean, yeah, never won. And they always play in Thanksgiving. So they have to lose in front of their families.
SPEAKER_01Good, bad, and uglier than Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER_00Right. I wonder when that started. Do you know when that started? Um in the uh early 70s, I think.
SPEAKER_01Oh, early 70s.
SPEAKER_00Something's been going on forever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Cowboys have always played it. They hosted it since early days. So it's always been there.
SPEAKER_00Jared Jones.
SPEAKER_01Jared Jones. Well, it was way before Jared Jones. Way before Jared Jones. I don't own I don't own this team for money. That's right. I bought that $350 million yacht because of hard work.
SPEAKER_00That's right. And this great nonprofit organization called the NFL. I'm giving back to the community.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00For this nonprofit organization.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So here's a bizarre metaphor. You know, football coaches, you know, they're full of metaphors, always trying to build up their team. Sure. Explain why they lose, how they win. So Nick Seriani, Siriani, whatever. Uh he's the brand new coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. All right. Well, he was quoted. Um, let's see, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is a fan of metaphors. On Wednesday, the first year head coach provided a strange metaphor on the team's growth this season. So Philadelphia is just two and five, so they suck suck to start the season. And Sirianni said he's focused on the team's growth more than anything. More than winning currently, I'm focused on the team's growth. To illustrate his mindset, he showed players a picture of a flower sprouting out of the ground and its roots growing underneath the surface. Having an NFL coach talk about fertilization is not on anyone's NFL press conference bingo card, but here we go. He says, Men, the results aren't there right now, but what's going on here is there's growth under the soil. Everybody wants to see results. Nobody wants to see results more than us. We want to see results too, but it's really important that the foundation is being built and that the roots are growing out. What a bunch of crap. He goes on to say, he goes on to say the only way the roots grow out every single day and they grow stronger and they grow better is if we all water, we all fertilize, we all do our part, each individual coach, each individual player, each everybody in the building. Yes. Shot myself. That we do our part to water and make sure when it the flower does pop out, it really pops out and it grows.
SPEAKER_02Whatever.
SPEAKER_01What the hell are you Nick? What are you talking about? I'm talking about your football team and sum it up there, Nick. Yeah. Yeah. That's ridiculous. All right. Hey, I got a I got a list here of um 25 of the best fictional football players in movies. Oh, fictional football? So fictional football players. All right. I bet you are gonna know one for sure.
SPEAKER_00And many more movies than I have football games. So yeah. Yeah. So these are movies, right? I do like sports movies. I like the movies about sports. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I still watch Hoosiers and think there's a chance that they might lose the game a little bit again. I do the same thing. They build they build that up, and I'm just like, God, he might not make that. Yeah, he's not gonna make it. When I watch it this time, there's a chance he might not make that. Yeah, and it ends the same way. It does. I tell you.
SPEAKER_01So Willie Beaman, you any given Sunday? You ever watch that?
SPEAKER_00Yes. I have seen any given Sunday. I heard that that is the one that got it right. Like that's the movie.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, Jamie Foxx.
SPEAKER_00With uh yeah, like that's uh Al Pacino. A lot of people say that that's the one that okay, that's probably what it's really like. You know what I mean? You know, with the market attitude and showboating and money, yeah. Right. It's gotta be in there.
SPEAKER_01Necessary Roughness. Remember that was a funny football. Yes. Paul Blake, played by Scott Bacula.
SPEAKER_00Yes. But uh you're you're forgetting about uh let's see what North Dallas 40. You got that one and then the green machine. What is that?
SPEAKER_01Uh oh yeah, no, that's in here. The longest yard. Yep.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01Go ahead. Here's yep, here, Paul Crew, the longest yard. Yep. Now, which one do you prefer? Do you like uh Burt Reynolds' version or do you like uh what's his name? Adam Sandless.
SPEAKER_00Adam Sandless. I I tell you what, I like Paul, I like uh Bert Reynolds Paul Crewe. Yeah, because he's got more swagger. Right. But I l and I like I like some of the lines that they were original with uh in the first one. But the newer one, the the secondary actors I think are better than the secondary actors.
SPEAKER_01Oh, agreed, yeah.
SPEAKER_00They have much more modern football players than they did then. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So so the realism here, but I get it. You know, they had a lot of guys. They had that one guy, Joss, that was in the movie. Yeah. He's in that, and he's just a gigantic. That's good. Yeah. Tell him to say sorry, you know, and it's just, you know.
unknownJeez.
SPEAKER_01And then uh, of course, Bobby Boucher.
SPEAKER_00Oh, Bob from the Wada Boy. The Wada Boy. That's Bob Boucher. That's the quality. My my mama said, my mama said. Yeah, you can take Adam Sandler or leave him. I tell you what, he he's he's either a hit or miss with me. Yep, I agree. Yeah, he's either he's got he got me or he doesn't. Yeah. But hey.
SPEAKER_01I haven't enjoyed everything he's done. Not by any.
SPEAKER_00But he's I still watch him and he's got my cares. I don't think he cares.
SPEAKER_01Al Bundy, married with children? He wasn't a football. Well, oh yeah, that's right. He was a big football star apparently at Polk High School. That's right. Okay, we're gonna have to. Right, right. That's true. That's true. Of course. All right, all right. One of my favorite, Lucy Draper from Necessary Roughness.
SPEAKER_00The kicker, Chick.
SPEAKER_01The kicker, Kathy Ireland.
SPEAKER_00Kathy Ireland. She was in uh they get a lot, they got a lot of emails to get not emails, but uh fan mail back in the 80s to show more cash.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, she has yeah. This one was for Amy, but Shane Falco in the replacements, played by Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves. Of course. It's a nice fellow. She'd be freaking out right now, I no doubt. Yeah. And then, of course, Forrest Gump. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I forgot. Yeah, it sure does. Right.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Stop!
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's great stuff. I don't know if I hate that movie or I just love scenes from that movie where I'm just like, that is the dumbest, but it gets you. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01I'm drawn in every time that comes on. I know.
SPEAKER_00I know. Right when he starts to put on that who starts a movie with the Klu Klux can and ends up, you know what I mean? Right. And it's a classic, instant classic.
SPEAKER_01Charles Jefferson, Fast Times, Ridge him on high.
SPEAKER_00Oh, God, yeah.
SPEAKER_01What a great movie.
SPEAKER_00When they they stimulate him by by trashing his goalie. I can fix it. I can fix it.
SPEAKER_01I can fix it. Lincoln sucks. My dad's the one of TV repair, man.
SPEAKER_00He's got an awesome set of tools. I can fix it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, God, that was perfect. Then he gets pissed off and I forgot about that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is good stuff. Uh, Forrest Whitaker, who is a way better actor than that movie.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Way better. Yeah. Small part in that. Yeah, yeah. He's the beast. Another movie that said they got college football pretty much down. The program, Darnell Jefferson. No, yeah, no, that was football, right?
SPEAKER_00Was James Conn in that? Or am I thinking of something else? Um, I don't think so. No, I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01No, I think you're right. I think, yes, he was uh he was in there. He's the head coach.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So yeah, so the program.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, uh Craig Craig Schaefer, he was the quarterback.
SPEAKER_00I think that's one that I didn't see because I just didn't feel like it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it that's a good one. I own that one. That's a funny one. And then, of course, uh another one. Sinbad. He was also in Necessary Roughmus. He's in Necessary Roughness, yes. Played Andre Krim.
